WET MOLDING LEATHER
WHAT WE NEED:
LEATHER HIDE
MOLD (PLASTER TORSO OR MANNEQUIN)
COTTON RIBBON
WATER
Basically it requires soaking leather in warm water and stretching it over a mold of some kind, bracing it and letting it dry. So to start, you would need a mold. To make something that would fit me best, I used my own body to create a plaster mold and after i casted mannequin.
Then submerge the entire leather piece in warm water and then place it onto the torso and rub the muscle shape into the leather. Then secure in place with cotton ribbon, so it does not slip out of place when it drys.
